Then we stopped gain about halfway between Dingle town and Killarney at Inch Beach, and me and Sian got one of our first photos together of the trip.
Then we got to Dingle, then next town we'll be in for three nights. Dingle is the the most Westerly town in Europe and is right on a really pretty bay.
It also has a resident dolphin named Fungei that has lived around the town for 30 years. Past Dingle we saw some Neolithic Beehive shaped huts that are still standing. Right next to them was the location where the Tom Cruise and Jicole Kidman movie 'Far and Away' was filmed. And some more really pretty cliff landscapes, complete with sheep.
The pinnacle of the peninsula is known as Slea Head, and from there you can see the Great Blaskett islands which were inhabited until the 1950s.
The Dingle Peninsula is mostly sheep and cattle farms, and all the land is split up into little pastures. It is an Irish speaking area, so all the road signs are written in Irish which is really hard to read.
After seeing all that we found our hostel in Dingle, and had to take some photos of the O'Hara's beer we found.
