Our Last Day in Dublin

Today is the last day that we are going to spend in Dublin until the end of our trip. Tomorrow we hop on a bus and travel to Cork for a new adventure. Today we decided to check out the National Museum of Decorative Arts. It was mostly filled with decorative teapots and wardrobes.

And vases. There were quite a few vases there.

The best part was all the Asian prints there. Mainly because their titles are pretty funny when translated into English.

Then we headed over to the Natural History Museum and saw a bunch of cute dead animals. It was cool because they had animals native to Ireland and they also had animals from all over like Africa and Australia.

Katie made friends with a very photogenic zebra.

We found the statue of Oscar Wilde in Merrick Park and I just had to pose with him. Although it seems they carved the weirdest face possible on him that they could. Kind of like an awkward come hither face/ slightly in pain.

Finally we decided to finish the day by checking out the National Gallery, but we didn't stay too long there because we were pretty tired at that point. We did stop one last time at the Temple Bar and we decided to take a picture of the actual bar.

So long Dublin, it's been fun. On to Cork now.
